Adobong kangkong is a cheap and tasty dish. "Kangkong,” as what we call it here in
the Philippines has a lot of health benefits. And it’s simply delicious dish or "pampagana" dish.

an inch of stalk)
·
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
·
1 medium onion (minced)
·
3 tbsp soy sauce or oyster sauce
·
2 ½ tbsp. vinegar
·
1 ½ glass water
·
Salt and Pepper to taste
·
1 tbsp. Bagoong
·
1 tsp. sugar
·
3 tbsp.
cooking oil
Cooking Procedure;
- Heat the pan with a bit of oil over a medium heat.
- Saute the garlic and onion, and make sure not to burn them to avoid a bitter taste for the recipe.
- Add the “bagoong’.
- Put the large bowl of Kangkong and the glass of water into the pan and mix them for a while. Cover the pan for about 5 minutes while waiting for the Kangkong to be cooked.
- Add the soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, salt and sugar altogether. (NOTE: Be careful when using these ingredients when you add or lessen the taste of the dish.) Mix all the ingredients with the Kangkong.
- Cover the pan. Let it cook for 2-3 more minutes.
Serve and Enjoy!
