Another savor
dish of shrimp with a delightful aroma and a strong blend of sweet and spicy
sauces top with fried garlic and best served with steamed rice. This kind of dish is commonly served during
lunch break or during summer season.
Ingredients
§ 1 lb. Fresh
shrimp (medium size, cleaned)
§ 1 ½ tsp. garlic (minced)
§ 3 tsp.
ginger (minced)
§ 1 tbsp.
sugar
§ 2 tsp.
soy sauce
§ 2 tbsp.
tomato ketchup
§ 2 tsp.
red chili (chopped)
§ 1 tbsp.
vegetable oil
§ 2
tablespoons scallion (chopped)
§ 1 tsp.
fried garlic
§ Salt
and pepper to taste
Cooking Procedure
1. In a
large bowl. Combine soy sauce, ketchup, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.
2. Heat
oil in a pan.
3. Add
ginger and garlic. Cook until light brown.
4. Put-in
the shrimp and stir for up to 2 minutes.
5. Pour-in
the ketchup mixture, scallions, and chili. Stir 5 minutes.
6. Add
salt and pepper.
7. Transfer
to a large serving plate. And sprinkle with fried garlic then serve.
